The perfect little gift to give for the holidays!
After seeing these everywhere, I figured I try them out on my own - with some cleaner ingredients too. A step-by-step guide is saved in my Instagram highlights and below...
You need:
chocolate chips, I used Enjoy Life Foods
coconut oil or cooking oil of choice
cocoa - I like this organic brand and would LOVE to try this one out!
mini marshmallows, here's a great, cleaner option and here's a vegan option
peppermint sprinkles
mini wooden spoons or use sticks or nothing at all!
How to:
melt chocolate chips in 30-sec increments until melted
using a knife, spread the chocolate into molds so the entire edges are covered
freeze for 15 mins
carefully remove half the molds, SO CAREFULLY!
fill remaining molds with some marshmallows and cocoa, top with spoon or stick laying the top across it
place removed molds on top of each
melt more chocolate with a touch of oil or make it drizzly
use a knife and the melted chocolate to form the top mold onto the bottom mold
freeze for 15 mins
CAREFULLY remove balls from mold, feel free to remove the extra edges
melt more chocolate and drizzle it across the balls, shake some peppermint sprinkles on top
wrap in cute baggies and give to your peeps!
